No Black Boxes. No Mystery. Just a Proven Process.
One of the biggest frustrations business owners have with SEO agencies is the lack of transparency. They pay a monthly fee, get a report they don’t fully understand, and trust that something is happening behind the scenes. At Steadfast & Faithful, we operate differently. Every step of our process is documented, communicated, and explained in plain English so you always know exactly what we’re doing and why.
Phase 1: Discovery and Strategy (Week 1–2)
Every engagement begins with a deep-dive discovery session. We spend time understanding your business: what you sell, who your best customers are, what differentiates you from competitors, and what your revenue goals look like. We then conduct a comprehensive competitor analysis — identifying which businesses rank above you, why they rank there, and what it will realistically take to surpass them.
From this research, we build a custom SEO strategy document that outlines our keyword targets, content plan, technical priorities, and link building approach. You review and approve this before we spend a dollar on execution.
Phase 2: Technical Foundation (Week 2–4)
Before we can build traffic, we need to make sure your website is technically sound. We conduct a full technical audit covering site speed (we target 90+ PageSpeed scores), mobile responsiveness, crawl efficiency, URL structure, internal linking, schema markup implementation, Google Search Console setup and error resolution, and Core Web Vitals compliance.
We fix technical issues ourselves — we don’t hand you a list of problems and leave you to find a developer. Our team handles implementation directly or coordinates with your existing developer if you prefer.
Phase 3: On-Page Optimization (Week 3–6)
Once the technical foundation is solid, we optimize your existing pages for target keywords. This involves rewriting or enhancing title tags and meta descriptions, restructuring headings for proper hierarchy, incorporating target keywords naturally into page content, adding FAQ sections for featured snippet opportunities, implementing schema markup for rich results, and optimizing images with proper alt text and file names.
We also identify content gaps — topics your competitors rank for that you don’t cover — and prioritize them in our content calendar.
Phase 4: Content Creation (Ongoing)
Content is the fuel of SEO. Every month, our writers produce SEO-optimized content that serves two masters: ranking in Google search results and being cited by AI systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
Our content is never AI-generated without human editorial oversight. Every piece goes through research, an SEO brief, writing by an experienced content creator, an editorial review, SEO optimization for metadata and structure, and internal linking to strengthen your site’s topical authority.
Phase 5: Link Building (Ongoing)
Links from reputable external websites remain one of the most powerful ranking signals in Google’s algorithm. We build links through a combination of digital PR (earning coverage and links from news sites and industry publications), outreach to relevant local and industry websites, creation of linkable assets (research, guides, tools), and partnership with local Idaho organizations and businesses.
We never buy links, participate in link schemes, or use private blog networks. These tactics work briefly and destroy your site permanently when Google catches them. We build links the right way — through quality and merit.
Phase 6: Google Business Profile Optimization (Ongoing)
For local SEO clients, your Google Business Profile is often the highest-value real estate on the internet. We optimize every element of your GBP: category selection (more nuanced than most people realize), service areas, business description, attributes, products and services listings, Q&A responses, photo strategy, weekly Google Posts, and a systematic review generation approach to grow your rating and review count over time.
Phase 7: Reporting and Strategy Reviews (Monthly)
Every month, you receive a plain-English report covering: keyword ranking changes, organic traffic trends, Google Business Profile performance, link building progress, content published, and specific wins from the month. We don’t hide bad months — we explain what happened and what we’re doing about it.
Quarterly, we conduct a formal strategy review to reassess our targets, incorporate new competitive intelligence, and adjust our approach based on what’s working. SEO is not a “set it and forget it” channel — it requires ongoing strategy refinement, and our process reflects that.
